Publishing is dry-run gated

The connector works, but publishing stays in dry-run until Meta's app review passes. You can connect a Page and compose. Nothing goes out.

Connect

Settings, then Connections, then Facebook. You approve on Facebook, and because one account can administer several Pages, you come back to a picker to choose which Page this connection publishes to.

Connect the same account again to add another Page.

What it can post

The most permissive caption limit of any platform here, at 63,206 characters, which is Facebook's own cap. In practice nobody uses it.

link is the one post kind unique to Facebook: a URL that Facebook unfurls into a preview card.

Metrics

No Facebook post metrics driver exists. Facebook posts show no analytics in Postlyra.

Facebook and Instagram are separate connections

Connecting a Facebook Page does not connect the Instagram account linked to it, and vice versa. They are two connections with two credential sets. See Instagram.
