What actually limits this
The connector is real and posts through Facebook's own API. What limits it in practice is Meta's app review: until Meta grants the live permission, posting from an app under review can fail or reach only test users. This is Meta's gate, not a switch in Postlyra.
Connect
Settings, then Connections, then Facebook. You approve on Facebook, and because one account can administer several Pages, you come back to a picker to choose which Page this connection publishes to.
Connect the same account again to add another Page.
What it can post
The most permissive caption limit of any platform here, at 63,206 characters, which is Facebook's own cap. In practice nobody uses it.
link is the one post kind unique to Facebook: a URL that Facebook unfurls into a preview card. A first comment can follow the post.
Metrics
Facebook post metrics and follower counts sync automatically. See Metrics.
Engage
Comments and messages on your Page arrive in your Inbox as they happen. Reply from there.
Meta's 24 hour rule only applies to a direct message: you can only reply within 24 hours of the person's last message to you. A comment has no such window and can be answered any time. A reply you post from Facebook's own app is picked up too: it shows up in the thread, and the Reply score counts the comment as answered.
What limits live delivery
Comments and messages arrive the moment Meta delivers the webhook, and Meta only delivers webhooks to an app it has reviewed. This is Meta's gate, not a switch in Postlyra.
Saving Facebook posts
Postlyra does not read other people's Facebook accounts or search Facebook.
You can save a Facebook video or reel into Inspiration: with the Chrome extension while you scroll Facebook, from the phone's share sheet, or by pasting its link into Studio's Save by link box. A pasted link often saves just the link, since a plain visitor to Facebook usually cannot see the post at all. The extension and the share sheet save the full post. It is transcribed from Facebook's own auto-generated captions when it has them, free, and from the audio otherwise, the same audio path Instagram and TikTok always use, since neither of those publishes captions at all.
Facebook and Instagram are separate connections
Connecting a Facebook Page does not connect the Instagram account linked to it, and vice versa. They are two connections with two credential sets. See Instagram.
