Uploads are forced private
Every video Postlyra uploads to YouTube is set to private visibility, regardless of what you choose.
Google requires an API audit before an app may create public uploads, and Postlyra has not passed it yet. Until then, publish through Postlyra, then flip the video to public in YouTube Studio yourself.
Connect
Settings, then Connections, then YouTube. Google OAuth, approve, return.
Google's consent screen will warn about an unverified app until the audit clears. That is the same audit as above.
Publishing
Video only. There is no way to post a text update or a community post.
The 4 GB cap here is Postlyra's practical limit rather than YouTube's, which is higher. Uploads go directly from your browser to storage in parts, never through the app, then get probed and checked against the spec above before they can be scheduled. See Video uploads.
Metrics
YouTube reports follower (subscriber) counts, which are snapshotted daily. Per-video metrics are not synced.
Research
YouTube is by far the strongest research source. Channel tracking, outlier detection, transcripts and keyword search all work properly on it, because the YouTube Data API is open in a way the social platforms' APIs are not.
The daily search budget
YouTube search runs against a daily quota, defaulting to 90 searches per day across the brand. The Search page shows used and remaining. Saved searches replay from cache, which costs no quota, so re-opening one is free.
