Settings, then Connections, then TikTok. OAuth redirect, approve, return.

TikTok tokens are short-lived (24 hours), so they refresh on every scheduled run rather than occasionally. This is handled automatically.

Publishing

Video only.

TikTok requires a compose panel showing your current creator settings (who can view, whether comments and duet are allowed, and your account's own limits) fetched live at compose time. That is a TikTok rule, not a Postlyra choice, so the composer fetches it when you open a TikTok draft. If TikTok's API is slow, that panel is why the composer pauses.

Metrics

TikTok reports follower counts, snapshotted daily. Per-video metrics are not synced.

No research on TikTok

TikTok channels cannot be tracked

There is no official read driver for TikTok, so TikTok accounts cannot be tracked as research channels, and TikTok videos do not appear in the outlier feed or in search.

Attempting to track a TikTok channel fails with "No official read driver registered for tiktok."

This is deliberate. Getting that data would mean scraping, which risks the account, and Postlyra only uses official APIs. See Channels for the platforms research does cover.
