Posting schedule
The time slots your content goes out in. Studio, then Settings, then the Content tab.
Timezone
Set this first. It decides when your posts publish.
There are two timezones and they are not the same
The posting schedule timezone here decides when content goes out. This is yours.
The deployment timezone is what background jobs run in. It affects when metrics sync and scans run, not your posts.
Getting this wrong is the classic cause of "why did that publish at 4am".
Slots
Add slots per platform, in the form Day HH:MM:
Instagram: Mon 09:10, Wed 09:10, Fri 17:30
LinkedIn: Tue 08:00, Thu 08:00Instagram needs at least one slot. Other platforms are optional.
These are the times the composer offers when you schedule a draft. You can always pick a custom time instead. Slots are a default, not a constraint.
Why odd times
09:10 rather than 09:00 is deliberate. Every scheduling tool in existence fires on the hour and the half hour, so those minutes are the most crowded in the feed. Offsetting by a few minutes costs nothing.
How many
Fewer than you think. Three good posts a week beats seven mediocre ones, and the schedule shapes how much content the AI planner drafts for you.
Start with 3 slots. Add more when you are consistently filling them.
The next free slot
The Queue header shows the next free slot for your default platform, so you know how far out you are booked without counting.
Publishing runs every minute
A scheduler ticks every minute and dispatches any slot that is due. So a slot at 09:10 publishes at 09:10, give or take the queue.
The scheduler dot
Bottom of the sidebar. Green means the scheduler stamped a heartbeat within the last two minutes and due slots will go out. Red means it is stale, and nothing will publish no matter how correct your queue looks.
Check it before debugging anything else about publishing.
Changing the schedule later
Editing slots does not move anything already booked. Existing slots keep their times. Reschedule them individually in the Queue if you want them moved.
